Volunteering
At Wrexham Swimming Club we rely on volunteers to meet the aims of the club.
There are many different roles within the club, such as:-
- Teaching/Coaching
- Team Managing
- Teacher Rescue (Session Lifeguard)
- Swimming Officials
- Committee Posts
- Assisting at Wrexham Galas
We welcome anyone who is keen.
Most of our current volunteers are parents of swimmers, swimmers and ex-swimmers.
We also offer opportunities for swimmers who wish to complete either skills or service elements of their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
You will not be thrown in at the deep end. You can shadow other volunteers to give you an idea of the requirements of each role.
Volunteering costs you nothing but your time and it is so rewarding.
